Daryl’s Exhibit of Mostly Gay Museums

This is a snapshot of an Omeka exhibit created to display museums and archives of queer content for IS-289 Museums in the Digital Age taught by Dr. Kathy Carbone in Fall 2021. This includes an introduction explaining my experience in making the exhibit, a brief overview of the museums as a group, images and explanations of the archives and museums imported form their own sites, as well as, metadata in Dublin Core format explaining each of the museums. The interactive site is available here and highlights of the gallery views of the museums and archives, selected digital assets of exhibitions at each, and the Dublin Core data can be viewed below.
