Let’s Talk About Learning in the Library

A short podcast introducing some of the ideas about why I think this work is important. In this short introduction I try to think about some of the questions that drive my approach to any library instruction session. Everyday I sit down at my desk I have a small reminder on a sticky note, “Who is this for and why?” This is a framing I take with me into every session I work on and try to keep as the central focus of any project I engage with. Who is the end user, what do they bring with them, how can I facilitate their learning are all questions that underpin my library instruction philosophy.
